At L.K. Way Wholeness, our mission is to educate, encourage, and equip individuals to pursue true wellness by caring for the whole person—spirit, soul, and body. Rooted in biblical principles, we believe wellness is more than the absence of illness. It is a journey toward living whole, strengthened, and intentional in every area of life. Through wellness education, courses, books, music, live teachings, and practical resources, we help individuals better understand their bodies, nurture a healthy mind and emotional life, strengthen their relationship with God, and develop habits that support lasting well-being. Our goal is to help people become active participants in their wellness journey while recognizing that true wholeness begins from within and extends outward—spirit, soul, and body.
Wellness Coach | Author | Founder of L.K. Way Wholeness
L.K. Way is a wellness coach, author, and founder of L.K. Way Wholeness, a faith-based wellness brand dedicated to helping individuals pursue wholeness in spirit, soul, and body. Her approach to wellness has been shaped not only by education and professional training but also by nearly two decades of experience working with patients, families, healthcare systems, insurance companies, and individuals navigating their personal health journeys. Complementing her professional background are approximately 12 years of active church service, spiritual development, biblical teaching, and community outreach, which have contributed significantly to her understanding of wellness from a biblical perspective.
L.K.'s professional journey into health and wellness began in 2008–2009, when she attended Americare School of Nursing in Fern Park, Florida, studying to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). During her training, she completed an externship in a family practice setting. That experience became an important turning point. While she valued caring for people, she realized that her deeper interest was in understanding how individuals could become and remain well—not simply what happened after illness developed. This realization inspired her to explore a more holistic understanding of health and the factors that contribute to long-term wellness.
In 2017, L.K. obtained her Florida 2-15 Health, Life, and Annuities Insurance License and began working in the insurance industry, meeting with individuals and families to discuss their insurance needs. Although her time in door-to-door insurance sales was brief, the experience provided an unexpected education in wellness. Through conversations about health histories, daily habits, and personal perspectives, she began recognizing the important connections between a person's mindset, lifestyle, and approach to overall well-being.
Recognizing that door-to-door sales was not the right fit for her, L.K. transitioned into the call-center side of the health insurance industry. There, she spent several years helping individuals understand and navigate the often-complicated healthcare system. Her responsibilities included answering insurance questions, explaining healthcare benefits and coverage, assisting with medication-related concerns, and helping members navigate the logistics of accessing healthcare. She continued working in this field through 2022, gaining valuable insight into the challenges individuals and families face when seeking healthcare services.
Alongside her professional development, L.K. spent approximately 12 years actively serving in local churches, gaining experience in church administration, worship, intercessory prayer, biblical teaching, and community outreach. Although she does not identify as a minister or hold a ministerial title, her years of service provided meaningful opportunities to grow spiritually, develop leadership skills, and deepen her understanding of biblical principles.
From approximately 2011 to 2017, L.K. served at Kingdom Institute in Orlando, Florida, where she was involved in church administration and participated on the worship team. During this period, she also grew in her prophetic gifting, developed a deeper understanding of intercession, and gained experience in helping cultivate an atmosphere conducive to worship, prayer, and spiritual engagement. These experiences strengthened her personal faith and broadened her understanding of spiritual growth, discernment, and the importance of nurturing one's relationship with God.
After relocating to Winter Haven, Florida, L.K. continued her church involvement at KDBMI from 2018 to 2022. During these years, she contributed to church administration, helped prepare the atmosphere for worship and spiritual gatherings, participated in community service initiatives, and taught Sunday school. Through these responsibilities, she developed additional experience in biblical instruction, communication, service, and supporting the spiritual development of others.
Today, L.K. attends Haven Worship Center, where she continues her personal journey of faith and spiritual growth. Although she does not currently hold an official church position, the knowledge and experience gained through years of serving in church communities remain an important part of her personal foundation and the perspective she brings to her wellness work.
Her spiritual journey has reinforced her belief that wellness cannot be fully understood by looking at the physical body alone. From her perspective, spiritual well-being, the condition of the soul, and physical health are interconnected aspects of a person's overall experience of life. This understanding has become central to her mission of helping individuals pursue wholeness through biblical principles, education, and intentional living.
From 2022 through 2024, L.K. stepped away from the traditional workforce to focus on publishing books and developing her growing wellness platform, originally known as WellHouse. During this period, she devoted more of her attention to writing, education, and exploring wellness through a biblical framework.
Drawing from her experiences in healthcare, personal wellness education, and years of spiritual development, her vision gradually evolved into a broader approach centered on the trichotomy of the person—spirit, soul, and body. She became increasingly passionate about helping individuals understand that caring for their spiritual lives, emotional and mental well-being, and physical health are all important parts of pursuing a whole and balanced life.
This vision eventually led to the development of L.K. Way Wholeness, a wellness brand designed to bring together biblical principles, practical wellness education, and resources that encourage individuals to take an intentional approach to their overall well-being.
In 2025, L.K. returned to healthcare-related work in a part-time role as an Ambassador Resource Specialist, assisting patients who take specialty medications for autoimmune diseases. In this role, she helps patients navigate some of the challenges that can arise between specialty pharmacies, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and medication-access processes.
This experience has continued to deepen her understanding of how overwhelming healthcare can become for patients and why education, support, and personal advocacy are so important. It has also reinforced her desire to help individuals become more informed, confident, and proactive in understanding their health and wellness needs.
Today, through L.K. Way Wholeness, L.K. brings together her experiences in healthcare support, insurance, publishing, wellness education, Christian faith, and years of church service. Her work reflects a desire to help individuals recognize the importance of caring for every aspect of their being.
Through wellness courses, books, educational resources, and live teachings, she encourages people to develop a greater understanding of wellness from a biblical perspective while gaining practical knowledge that can support healthier lifestyles.
Her philosophy is rooted in the understanding that a person is more than a physical body. Wellness involves caring for the spirit, soul—including the mind, will, and emotions—and body. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, L.K. encourages individuals to become intentional participants in their own wellness by learning about their bodies, developing healthier habits, addressing emotional and mental distress, strengthening their spiritual lives, and making choices that support long-term well-being.
She believes that pursuing wholeness is an ongoing journey requiring knowledge, intentionality, discipline, faith, and a willingness to grow. Her goal is not simply to provide information but to inspire individuals to take meaningful steps toward cultivating a healthier and more fulfilling life.
Through L.K. Way Wholeness, her mission is simple: to educate, encourage, and equip individuals to pursue a life of wholeness—spirit, soul, and body.
